Seller guide
Start selling your own original artwork in a simple and transparent way. Sorisomun supports both Private and approved Professional Sellers.
Choose your Seller status
Choose Private if you sell outside your trade, business, craft or profession. Choose Professional if selling your own art is part of that activity. This describes how you sell, not your artistic skill or quality.
Apply
Submit a short portfolio and confirm that your Seller status is accurate. Professional Sellers must also complete the required legal and business verification before Professional checkout is enabled.
Upload your artwork
Add images, description, packed shipping details and your price. Marketplace Sellers may only list original artworks they personally created and have the right to sell.
Make a sale
The Buyer pays through Sorisomun. Your Seller status is shown before purchase and is stored with the order when the transaction is made.
Ship your work
Package safely, follow the shipping flow, and ship within the stated deadline.
Get paid
After delivery, the Buyer has 2 days to confirm receipt or report a qualifying Sorisomun order issue. Private Seller payouts can progress after completion when no hold applies. Professional Seller payouts remain held through the applicable statutory withdrawal period and while an active withdrawal, claim, refund or other hold remains unresolved.
Private vs Professional
Private Seller status is for selling outside your trade, business, craft or profession. Professional Seller status is for selling as part of that activity. Registration with a business register can be relevant, but Seller status depends on the actual circumstances and is not a rating of artistic experience or quality.
You are responsible for selecting an accurate status and updating Sorisomun if your circumstances change. Sorisomun may request clarification, verification or restrict selling while Seller status is reviewed.
Professional Seller responsibilities
Professional Sellers must provide the legal and contact information required for verification and comply with applicable trader-to-consumer obligations. For eligible online consumer purchases, this generally includes statutory withdrawal rights and other mandatory consumer remedies.
If a valid statutory withdrawal follows delivery, Sorisomun may refund the Buyer through the original payment flow. The Professional Seller remains responsible to Sorisomun for the actual outbound carrier cost attributable to the returned artwork. For a multi-copy partial withdrawal, only the withdrawn quantity's share is allocated, and any parcel-overage amount already charged for that shipment is credited to avoid double charging. The Buyer may bear the direct return-shipping cost where that was properly disclosed before purchase.
For Buyer Protection claims, a refund does not automatically mean that carrier costs are charged to you. Sorisomun separately reviews whether the problem is attributable to Seller-controlled fulfilment. Where it is, a full claim can allocate the original outbound carrier cost and an applicable return-label cost to the Seller. Carrier loss or carrier-caused damage is reviewed separately rather than automatically treated as Seller responsibility.
Professional status does not permit galleries, agents, consignment, resale or third-party listings. The artwork must still be an original work personally created by the Seller.
Fees
€0 listing fee · 12% commission per completed sale
Carrier-cost adjustments described above are pass-throughs of actual provider costs, not additional Sorisomun commission or penalties.
